My passion for weddings began when I was a toddler. My parents have strong (and possibly traumatic) memories of having to take their determined three-year-old daughter into bridal boutiques, just so she could see a 'real' bride!

As I grew older, my fascination grew to be with the emotion of the event rather than the aesthetics. I still love a beautifully styled wedding, but nothing excites me as much as seeing and feeling the emotion of a couple in love. I am thrilled that marriage equality is now a reality in Australia and I can marry all couples who love each other.

It makes me ridiculously happy to be able to share in a couple’s joy, so much so that for days afterwards I’m still on a high. It isn’t just the joy of a couple, either – seeing the happiness and emotion of their family and friends is just as addictive. Even now, with several years experience, it’s quite common for me to arrive home from a wedding and dance gleefully around the kitchen (much to the amusement of my husband).

I have worked in education, corporate relationship management and program development. Several years’ experience in broadcast radio ensures that I have the confidence, poise and presentation required to deliver your ceremony with grace.

My favourite place is on the couch with my feet in my husband's lap, a good book and a glass of Pinot Noir in easy reach.

I’ve seen The Sound of Music, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Princess Bride more times than I care to admit and can quote all three verbatim. (As you wish).

My dinner party playlist is made up of David Bowie, Burt Bacharach, Leonard Cohen, the Village People, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave and soundtracks from various musicals.

I like tulips, cinnamon, autumn leaves, the scent of freshly washed linen and the sound of rain on the roof. Oh, and chocolate. (Lots of chocolate).

I have the best job in the world.
